After 2 years we finally managed once again to host our annual BBQ. We all missed out last year due to the pandemic. 140 guests – holiday homeowners and their families – turned out to enjoy an afternoon of fun, laughter, and great food. The crowd was brilliantly entertained by DJ Darryl who directed not only the music but all of the games including our favorite and very competitive version of “Musical Chairs”.
The Merlewood team had spent the morning setting up the gazebos and the BBQs and our guests turned up with their tables and chairs. The Ward family – Michael, Julie, Sophie, and Alex – who own the Park spent the afternoon cooking the burgers and sausages and serving them. No one went hungry!!
It was wonderful having everyone back together and also a great opportunity to welcome our new owners to the Park. Everyone is already looking forward to the next event!
